The standard

First class is a standard, not just a name.

We started First Class Lawn & Landscape on a straightforward idea: do the work properly, communicate honestly, and leave a property looking better than we found it.

In practice that shows up in small things. Hand-cutting an edge where a machine would tear it. Taking the extra minute to blow clippings off the drive and the walk. Getting the base right before any pavers go down. It is not the fastest way to work, but it is a good part of why our new work still tends to come by word of mouth.

We are small enough to stay close to every property we take on, and set up to cover the whole year — spring cleanup, summer mowing, fall leaves and winter snow.

Brady — Owner, First Class Lawn & Landscape, LLC

Everything the property needs, from one crew.

Residential and commercial. Routine maintenance through full landscape construction.

01Freshly striped lawn running up to a home, with planted beds and ornamental grasses

Lawn Maintenance

Regular mowing, hand-trimmed edges, and a blow-down of drives and walks before we go. Fertilization and weed control programs available.

02Natural stone steps rising through a planted garden bed

Landscape Design & Planting

Beds, borders, trees, shrubs and perennials chosen with West Michigan clay and Zone 6a winters in mind, then laid out to suit the property.

03Circular paver patio bordered by a stone block retaining wall

Hardscapes

Paver patios, walkways, steps, seat walls, retaining walls and fire features, built on a properly excavated and compacted base.

04Freshly mulched planting bed edged with natural stone

Mulch, Edging & Bed Care

Fresh hardwood mulch, hand-cut spade edges, pre-emergent, and weeding through the season — usually the quickest way to sharpen up a property.

05Freshly striped lawn and trimmed beds at a multi-family apartment property

Commercial Grounds

Mowing, bed care and seasonal service for offices, retail centers, multi-family and HOAs, scheduled around your hours wherever we can.

06Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD fitted with a Western Pro Plus snow plow

Snow & Ice Management

Plowing, shoveling and salting for driveways, walks and commercial lots, on a seasonal contract or per event.

How working with us goes.

No sales visit, no pressure, and a real number in writing.

Step 01

We walk it

Call or send the form. We come out, look at the property with you, and talk through what you actually want done.

Step 02

You get it in writing

A written estimate with the scope and the price spelled out. Nothing starts until you say yes.

Step 03

We schedule it

We will confirm your service day or your project start date. Weather moves things sometimes, and we will let you know when it does.

Step 04

We keep it up

We try to keep the same crew on your property, so nobody has to be re-taught where the sprinkler heads are.
